We are disappointed to report that the 2025 UNL Middle School Band Camp is cancelled due to the construction of the new music building and the destruction of the old.  We hope to be able to offer scholarships in 2026.

UNL MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

The GFWC Lincoln Heritage League Woman’s Club will be offering a full day camper scholarship of $325.00 and a half scholarship of $162.50 to the UNL Middle School Band Camp.  This year there will also be an additional scholarship offered by the GFWC District 1. The scholarships are open to all band students who have completed the 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade this academic year. The recipients will be responsible for extra costs if they wish to stay on campus or if they are granted a half scholarship. 

The date of the camp is June 17 – 21, 2025  

The deadline to apply is May 3

All applications will be reviewed by The Heritage League of Lincoln Scholarship Committee and a representative of the LPS Music Department. Winners will be notified by the end of the school year and will be given further instructions for enrolling in the camp. To look for the camp online, see www.unl.edu/band and search camps and festivals. The band camp directors will assist the students in the application process.
